What ages do you accept at Little Einstein’s Academy?
We accept children from 6 weeks old through 5 years of age at both our Edison and Roselle locations. Our programs include infant care, toddler programs, and pre-kindergarten.
What are your hours of operation?
Little Einstein’s Academy is open Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM. We are closed on major holidays.
How much does daycare cost at Little Einstein’s Academy?

Do you accept CCAP childcare vouchers or NJ childcare subsidies?

How do I enroll my child?
You can start the enrollment process by registering online or scheduling a tour of our facility. After your visit, our admissions team will walk you through paperwork, health records, and your child’s start date.
Is there a waitlist?
Availability varies by age group and location. Some classrooms may have a waitlist, especially for infants. We recommend registering early to secure your spot.
Can I tour the facility before enrolling?
Absolutely. We encourage all parents to schedule a free tour so you can meet our teachers, see the classrooms, and ask any questions in person.

What curriculum does Little Einstein’s Academy use?
We use the Creative Curriculum, a research-based early childhood education framework that promotes learning through exploration and play. It covers literacy, math, science, social-emotional development, and the arts.
What is included in the infant care program?
Our infant program serves babies from 6 weeks to around 12 months. It includes individualized feeding and nap schedules, tummy time, sensory activities, and daily updates sent to parents through our app.
What does the toddler program look like?
Our toddler program focuses on language development, social skills, potty training support, and hands-on exploration. Activities include art, music, outdoor play, and early literacy.
What does the pre-K program cover?
Our pre-K program prepares children for kindergarten with structured lessons in reading readiness, math concepts, science exploration, social studies, and social-emotional skills — all delivered through the Creative Curriculum framework.
Do you offer part-time schedules?
Yes, we offer both full-time and part-time schedules depending on availability. Contact our admissions team to discuss scheduling options that work for your family.
Do you offer summer programs?
Yes. Our summer camp program features themed weeks with water play, arts and crafts, outdoor adventures, STEM activities, and field trips for older children.
Do you offer before and after school care?
Yes, we provide before and after school care for school-age children, with homework help, snacks, and enrichment activities in a safe, supervised environment.
Safety & Facilities
Is Little Einstein’s Academy licensed by the state of New Jersey?
Yes, both our Edison and Roselle locations are fully licensed by the New Jersey Department of Children and Families (NJ DCF) and comply with all state health and safety regulations.
What are the teacher-to-child ratios?
We maintain ratios that meet or exceed NJ state requirements: approximately 1:4 for infants, 1:6 for toddlers, and 1:10 for preschool and pre-K classrooms.
Do you have security cameras?
Yes. Our facilities are equipped with security cameras throughout the building. Access to the building is controlled, and all visitors must check in at the front desk.
What is your illness policy?
Children with a fever of 100.4°F or higher, vomiting, diarrhea, or contagious conditions must stay home. They may return after being symptom-free for at least 24 hours without medication. We follow NJ DCF health guidelines.
How do you handle food allergies?
We take allergies very seriously. Parents provide a detailed allergy action plan upon enrollment. Our staff is trained in allergy awareness, and we maintain allergy-safe classrooms. All meals and snacks are checked against known allergies.
Are your teachers background-checked and trained?
Yes. All staff undergo comprehensive background checks, fingerprinting, and are CPR and First Aid certified. Our teachers receive ongoing professional development in early childhood education.
Daily Life
What should my child bring on their first day?
For infants: labeled bottles, formula or breast milk, diapers, wipes, a change of clothes, and a comfort item. For toddlers and preschoolers: a change of clothes, a blanket for nap time, and any comfort item. All items should be labeled with your child’s name.
Do you provide meals and snacks?
Yes, we provide nutritious meals and snacks throughout the day that follow USDA Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP) guidelines. Menus are shared with parents weekly.
How will I receive updates about my child’s day?
Parents receive daily updates through our app, including photos, activity reports, meal logs, nap times, and diaper changes for younger children. Teachers also communicate directly during drop-off and pick-up.
What does a typical day look like?
A typical day includes structured learning time, free play, outdoor time, meals and snacks, story time, art or music activities, and nap or rest time. Schedules are age-appropriate and follow the Creative Curriculum framework.
Do children go outside every day?
Yes, weather permitting. Outdoor play is an important part of our daily routine and supports physical development, socialization, and sensory exploration.
